John S. Bradfield Elementary School
Bradfield Elementary has been a cornerstone of the Highland Park community since 1926, with a proud tradition of academic excellence and community involvement. Bradfield is the second-oldest elementary school within HPISD, and was named after Dr. John Sherman Bradfield, a prominent local leader and School Board President.
For 100 years, Bradfield has grown alongside generations of families committed to nurturing community and education. Our school is rich with century-old traditions like the Bradfield Parent Teacher Association (PTA), and a parent-led volunteer cafeteria.
John S. Bradfield School PTA's (John S. Bradfield School Parent Teacher Association) mission is to enrich & support the education of children within HPISD, with a special focus on students at Bradfield. We are committed to advancing educational excellence by providing meaningful resources, fostering volunteer engagement, and supporting impactful programs that benefit our school and district. Through thoughtful leadership and collaboration, we strive to do all that is necessary to enhance learning opportunities and strengthen our school community.

It is a true honor to have been asked to serve as PTA President for John S. Bradfield Elementary, a school that means so much to my family. Bradfield is a special place filled with dedicated teachers and staff, bright and caring students, and generous families and sponsors. Together, we all make Bradfield the amazing school that it is.
Through your gifts and support, the PTA is able to provide meaningful resources for our teachers and staff, enhance educational opportunities for our students, and create a strong community among our families. I want to express my gratitude to all the PTA volunteers for the countless volunteer hours given. The greatest rewards of volunteering at Bradfield, is seeing the students’ smiling faces, showing our wonderful teachers support and serving with friends.
